Gutters collect all sorts of debris throughout the year, moss falling from the roof, leaves and items dropped by birds. If left to accumulate, rain water is not drained away and will sit in the gutters adding strain to brackets and joints causing them to leak. Overflowing water can also allow damp into roofs and on walls causing expensive remedial work.
We clear most gutters by high powered vacuum and lightweight carbon fibre poles, this allows us to work from the safety of the ground as well as being able to reach awkward areas ladders can’t reach. If leaks have been noted we can offer a full gutter survey including flow-test to check that water is flowing correctly and identify any areas requiring repair. We carry out repairs to both plastic and cast-iron guttering too.
